At 20, The Global Fund is Ready to Fight New Pandemics, says AHF

LOS ANGELES--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Tomorrow marks the 20th anniversary of The Global Fund to Fight AIDS, Tuberculosis, and Malaria (GFATM), one of the most transparent and effective multilateral public health financing mechanisms in the world. As the GFATM enters a new decade in the middle of another pandemic, AIDS Healthcare Foundation (AHF) urges countries to expand the mandate of the Fund to include other infectious diseases, like COVID-19, and make sure it remains fully funded at the next replenishment round later this year.
