New Liberty Tire Rubberized Mulch Facility in Sanford Brings Manufacturing Jobs to North Carolina

SANFORD, N.C.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Liberty Tire Recycling, the premier North American provider of tire recycling services, will open a new manufacturing facility in Sanford in February 2022, creating 30 new jobs in the area.

The new facility will produce rubberized mulch, a resilient and sustainable alternative to traditional mulch, made from recycled scrap tires.
