BROOKLYN, N.Y.--()--Dialyze Direct, the nation’s leading provider of home hemodialysis services in skilled nursing facilities (SNF), is pleased to welcome Robert Aberman as Senior Vice President of Population Health. As the newest member of the company’s senior leadership team, Aberman will be responsible for growing relationships with healthcare systems, hospitals, payors, and other organizations focused on improving clinical and quality-of-life outcomes while reducing the cost of care for patients living with kidney disease. “Robert’s extensive knowledge of the healthcare services industry and experience working with growth companies make him an excellent fit for this critical role. I am confident that Robert’s wealth of talent and experience will enable him to play a significant role in enhancing patient care and achieving our ambitious growth plans in the year ahead and beyond,” said Chairman and Co-Founder Henry Kauftheil. “I’m delighted to welcome Robert to the Dialyze Direct team.”

Aberman’s healthcare industry experience includes a nine-year tenure with Compassionate Care Hospice, which operated 53 locations in 22 states at the time of its acquisition by Amedisys in 2019. He most recently served as the company’s director of post-acute care payer relations, a role that entailed developing relationships and programs with insurance companies and health systems across the country. His previous roles at Compassionate Care Hospice included serving as New York City program director, in which he was responsible for overseeing hospice services in the city, and as director of business development.

“I was drawn to Dialyze Direct because not only does it have a reputation for delivering best-in-class, patient-focused treatment, it is also a true innovator. The improved standard of care the company has established is disrupting the industry in the best possible sense by changing more lives for the better every day,” said Aberman. “I look forward to helping the Dialyze Direct team to identify new and innovative ways to continually enhance the quality-of-care patients receive and the outcomes they achieve.”

Before transitioning into the healthcare field, Aberman spent more than a decade as a financial services executive at Jeffries & Company, Bear Stearns, Merrill Lynch and J.P. Morgan.
