University of Phoenix Hosts Educational Equity Webinar on Modeling Inclusive Leadership During the Pandemic

January 20 panel event features diversity and inclusion experts

PHOENIX--(BUSINESS WIRE)--University of Phoenix will hold a January 20 webinar in its Educational Equity Webinar Series, titled “Modeling Inclusive Leadership in a Post-Covid Era.” The event is part of a public series intended for educators, diversity, equity and inclusion (DEI) practitioners, higher education leaders and administrators, employers, nonprofit organizations, and government affiliations, and University of Phoenix faculty, staff, students, and alumni across the globe.

The event jump starts the year’s series with a panel discussion on how inclusive leadership has been modeled throughout the pandemic, and explore the path forward. The panel will discuss how issues relating to equity and inclusion show up in the classroom, workplace and communities.

The webinar will feature Joanna C. de’Shay, Executive Director, Diversity Leadership Alliance, and the following panelists:

  • Michael Collins, Vice-President, Jobs for the Future
  • Monica Villalobos, President & CEO, Arizona Hispanic Chamber of Commerce
  • Steve Gross, Chief Marketing Officer, University of Phoenix

The discussion will be hosted by Tondra Richardson, MBA/HRM, director of Student Diversity & Inclusion, and Saray Lopez, director, Student Diversity & Inclusion, both with the Office of Educational Equity at University of Phoenix.

The Thursday, January 20 event will be held 11:00am to 12:00pm MST.
