Circumstances giving rise to the notifications

On 13 December 2021 the Company granted options over 130,746 A shares of 12.5p each in the Company’s capital, pursuant to the Young & Co.’s Brewery, P.L.C. Savings-Related Share Option Scheme (the “Scheme”).

The number of shares represents 0.22% of the Company’s issued share capital (i.e. A shares and non-voting shares combined) and 0.38% of the Company’s issued A share capital.

Ordinarily, the options will not be exercisable until 1 February 2025 and will lapse six months later to the extent not exercised. The option price is 1176p per share. This price was set in accordance with the rules of the Scheme.

The following directors of the Company were each granted an option over the following number of shares:
