QAD DynaSys Announces Its Next Installment of Digital Planning Capabilities

QAD DynaSys delivers Digital Supply Chain Planning technology for their customers to navigate the optimal path to business recovery

SANTA BARBARA, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--QAD DynaSys, a leading provider of digital supply chain planning solutions, has announced the innovative new capabilities of QAD DynaSys DSCP (Digital Supply Chain Planning).

Today, manufacturers contend with rising demand and supply chain constraints. QAD DynaSys has enhanced its digital planning capabilities to deliver increased supply chain visibility and tools for minimising supply chain risk. QAD DynaSys is one of only a few leading solutions that offer cash-flow and full working capital impact analysis on every supply chain planning scenario.

"Our customers face supply chain challenges as they work to fulfill the demand for their products,” said QAD DynaSys President Ariel Weil. “We stand side-by-side with every customer to ensure our solutions are evolving with the new challenges of this recovery period. The world may have gone into lockdown but the forces of digitization did not stop. Our product vision is focused on using digital technologies to simplify our customers' supply chain experience and deliver intuitive and timely supply chain decision support to their fingertips.”

“We are launching the new release focused on driving responsive and fact-based decision support,” added QAD DynaSys Vice President of R&D and Support Jean-Luc Rominger.

The latest product release focuses specifically on consumer product industries that have felt the disruption more than most during the pandemic. A summary of the new features includes:

  • Financial Planning: This release adds additional financial metrics across the supply chain to evaluate business supply chain risk in terms of cash and working capital. The QAD DynaSys solution uniquely compares planning scenarios in terms of cash requirements and impact on working capital, including Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable. This valuable capability provides a deeper insight into the plan in addition to supply chain and profitability measures.
  • Promotions Planning: A core headline of this release is the new digital promotions planning capability. This solution connects with retailers to synchronize promotional plans and collaboratively progress the promotions through the validation and approval stage-gates. The fully interactive promotional calendar provides full visibility of all promotions by account, category, and status, managing profitability, budget adherence and trade-spend feasibility.

QAD DynaSys DSCP 2021 is a functionally rich digital planning solution that helps global companies operate effectively. Available in the cloud for digital supply chain software implementation without the need for the user to administer the hardware, it provides an end-to-end solution with specific capabilities for demand planning, inventory optimization, supply planning, manufacturing planning, financial planning, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) and Integrated Business Planning (IBP).
