MulticoreWare Inc. Joins Synopsys ARC Access Program

MulticoreWare Inc. Becomes a Synopsys ARC Ecosystem Partner, Providing Optimization Techniques for DesignWare ARC EV Processors

SAN JOSE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--MulticoreWare joins the Synopsys DesignWare® ARC® Access Program as one of their trusted partners, offering model optimization techniques enabling DesignWare ARC processors to efficiently compute processor workloads.

MulticoreWare has developed neural network (NN) model optimization techniques that are included in Synopsys’ MetaWare EV Development Toolkit, targeting efficient neural network inference on the ARC EV family of processors. This covers aspects of compression and downsizing CNN models with very minimal loss in accuracy for Caffe and TensorFlow frameworks. MulticoreWare has also developed tools to automate the manual analysis and decision-making process to compress models using various optimization techniques to maintain the same quality and accuracy as compared to manual methods.

This collaboration between MulticoreWare and Synopsys will benefit customers looking to increase performance and reduce power consumption in a wide range of markets, including SoCs, IoT, digital home, mobile, automotive and more.
