Keystone Agency Partners Appoints Brian L. Hermes as Chief Legal Officer

Seasoned corporate counsel brings 25 years of robust legal and transactional experience to support company’s rapid growth with independent insurance agencies

HARRISBURG, Pa.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Keystone Agency Partners, a fast-growing independent insurance agency partnership platform, has named Brian Hermes as the company’s Chief Legal Officer. In this role, Mr. Hermes will lead the legal and human resources functions and advise the Board and management team on complex legal, regulatory and governance matters.

Mr. Hermes joins Keystone Agency Partners with 25 years of legal and transactional experience working in both law firm and corporate settings. His experience includes M&A, carve-outs and divestitures, strategic alliances, corporate governance, corporate lending, commercial contracting, real estate, intellectual property and all aspects of employment and independent contractor laws.

Prior to joining Keystone Agency Partners, Mr. Hermes gained 16 years of general counsel experience, throughout which he started his own law firm serving as outsourced GC to multiple small and mid-sized organizations — including private equity-sponsored portfolio companies and insurance brokers — and spent several years in-house as General Counsel of a multi-national direct sales corporation. A graduate of the Baylor University School of Law, Mr. Hermes began his career at the law firm of Bell Nunnally & Martin.
