Church Mutual® Announces Leadership Promotion

MERRILL, Wis.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Stephanie Lynn has been named vice president, Enterprise Risk Management, at Church Mutual Insurance Company, S.I. (a stock insurer)1.

Lynn’s role will include oversight and strategic direction for the organization’s Enterprise Risk and Business Continuity programs, including the negotiation and management of corporate reinsurance and insurance contracts.

“Stephanie has played a critical role on both our Enterprise Risk Management and Business Continuity teams,” said Rich Poirier, president and CEO. “Her expertise and leadership have been invaluable during the pandemic, helping to mitigate risk for our company as well as for our customers.”

Lynn has been with Church Mutual for almost eight years, having joined the company as an actuarial consultant. Most recently, she served as Enterprise Risk Management senior director/actuary.

Lynn holds a bachelor’s degree in actuarial science and mathematics from the University of Wisconsin – Madison. In addition, she has earned two professional designations, Fellow of the Casualty Actuarial Society (FCAS) in 2016 and Associate in Risk Management (ARM) in 2017. She has also served on the Casualty Actuarial Society (CAS) Membership Advisory Panel since 2016 and Exam Committee since 2021. She is currently the president of Church Mutual’s Women’s Leadership Initiative and sits on the School Board for Trinity Lutheran School in Wausau, Wisconsin. Lynn is a Merrill native who now resides in Wausau with her family.
