Press Ganey Announces Strategic Partnership With Doximity

Healthcare professionals to benefit from real-time patient feedback following telehealth visits

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Press Ganey, the national leader in healthcare consumer and workforce engagement, announced its strategic partnership with Doximity, the leading cloud-based telehealth and digital information platform for medical professionals.

Press Ganey’s patient experience surveys will interface with Doximity’s tech stack, allowing patients to give feedback about their virtual visit immediately after hanging up voice or video calls. The seamless integration helps healthcare organizations more easily trigger surveys and collect real-time data from patient insights.

“From the 26.5 million telehealth email and SMS surveys Press Ganey has deployed in 2021 alone, we have encouraging evidence that technology doesn’t erode the humanity of care—in fact, it enhances it, and healthcare consumers expect it,” said Daniel Litwer, chief client officer, Press Ganey. “Real-time feedback is critical to success in this digital era, and our deepened partnership with Doximity bridges technology, automation and analytics together to fundamentally make healthcare easier and, in turn, improve the patient experience.”

Press Ganey clients can see feedback daily, easily navigate results in performance dashboards and then take immediate action for service recovery.

“Our goal at Doximity is to save doctors time and give patients a best-in-class, accessible telehealth experience,” said Nate Gross, MD, chief strategy officer, Doximity. “We're pleased to work with an industry leader like Press Ganey to design products that empower our members and partners in the delivery of excellent care to their patients.”

More than 63 million virtual visits were conducted on Doximity’s platform in the fiscal year ending March 31, 2021. According to Doximity’s State of Telemedicine, $106 billion of current U.S. healthcare spend could be virtualized by 2023.

“Healthcare consumerism is driving this paradigm shift—patient experience leaders should adjust strategic objectives as virtual visits and at-home diagnostics become the new way forward,” added Litwer.
