Noname Security Launches API Security Platform on AWS Marketplace

Noname’s Turnkey Integration and AWS Marketplace Availability Simplifies API Security as Companies Accelerate their Journey to the Cloud

PALO ALTO, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Noname Security, a leading provider of enterprise API security, today announced the availability of its API Security Platform in the AWS Marketplace, a digital catalog with thousands of software listings from independent software vendors that makes it easy to find, test, buy, and deploy software on Amazon Web Services (AWS).

Gartner predicts that “by 2022, API abuses will be the most-frequent attack vector resulting in data breaches for enterprise web applications.” As the adoption of APIs grows, it becomes necessary for organizations to develop API security strategies to prevent costly breaches. In addition, given the critical role APIs play in digital transformation—and the access to sensitive data and systems they provide—APIs warrant a dedicated approach to security and compliance.

"With more companies embracing the cloud to achieve their digital transformation goals, Noname Security helps to ensure their sensitive data remains secure,” said David Thomason, Director of Alliances, Noname Security. "Availability in AWS Marketplace enables turnkey deployments globally of our SaaS-based API Security Platform, while also delivering the cost savings, security, flexibility, and scalability of AWS. The Noname API Security Platform helps us to further support our customers as they accelerate their journey to the cloud."

Noname Security delivers the most powerful, complete, and easy-to-use API security platform. Noname finds and inventories all APIs; detects attacks, suspicious behavior, and misconfigurations using AI-based behavioral analysis; prevents attacks and integrates with existing remediation and security infrastructure; and actively validates APIs before deployment.

Unlike other solutions that only monitor API traffic, Noname analyzes API traffic as well as application and infrastructure configurations to provide better API security posture management, API runtime security, and active API SDLC testing. Only Noname Security can find all shadow APIs and API misconfigurations before the company is impacted.
