ERIS Acquires LGI Copy Service Canada Raising the Standard of Property Due Diligence in Canada

Combining Strengths in Environmental Risk Data, City Directories, and Historical Aerial Photographs

TORONTO & OTTAWA, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Environmental Risk Information Services (ERIS) and LGI Copy Service Canada (LGI), both leading providers of historical and current environmental assessment information, are announcing the acquisition of LGI to strengthen ERIS’ Canadian operations and improve the overall scale of its business nationwide.

“Adding LGI to the ERIS organization sets a new standard of service and resources as we continue to invest in our Canadian operations to ensure the best quality, products and technology available for our end-users,” said Carol Le Noury, President of ERIS. “LGI adds a wealth of city directories and historical aerial photographs that will directly integrate into our existing platforms, giving our customers even greater access to current and historical environmental risk information.”

By combining their resources, ERIS and LGI are creating a more comprehensive entity in the environmental consulting industry, solidifying ERIS as a single resource for current risk data, as well as historical aerials, city directories, topographic maps, fire insurance maps, and land titles. In addition, all products and services will be provided through state-of-the-art applications and supported by unparalleled industry-leading customer service.

“Joining ERIS allows us to continue serving our customers with high-quality products, value, and personal service,” said Adam Lantos, CEO and founder of LGI, who will continue with ERIS in a consulting role to assist with the transition. “Plus, our customers can now take advantage of the latest innovative technologies and unique offerings that ERIS continues to create, decreasing turnaround time and increasing efficiencies for our customers.”

For the initial phase, LGI and ERIS will work in parallel as they merge their products and data, while working with customers to integrate the best-in-class services from both organizations.
