37 Ameriprise Financial Advisors Named to Working Mother Magazine’s Top Wealth Advisor List

MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ameriprise Financial today announced that 37 financial advisors were named to Working Mother Magazine’s 2021 list of the “Top Wealth Advisor Moms” in the country. The list recognizes successful mothers who work in the wealth management industry and care for children who are 21 years or younger. The advisors are ranked based on assets under management, revenue, industry experience, client retention and regulatory and compliance record.

“The women on this list are pillars of support and inspiration for all who depend on them – whether it’s their clients, families, colleagues or communities at large,” said Deirdre McGraw, Executive Vice President of Marketing, Communications and Community Relations at Ameriprise. “Women make great advisors and we’re proud to recognize the high level of personal and professional success that these women have achieved. They are excellent role models for the next generation of advisors in this industry.”

“The Covid-19 pandemic brought sharp focus to what people care about,” said Thais Piotrowski, Ameriprise Private Wealth Advisor in Boca Rotan, Florida who was profiled in Working Mother Magazine as part of the feature announcing the “Top Wealth Advisor Moms” list. “Many of the conversations I’ve had with clients lately center on making sure they can live life to the fullest and create memories through experiences. My unique ability as an advisor is to ensure that my clients have a plan to experience life while staying focused on their long-term goals.”

Ameriprise is committed to being the firm of choice for women in the financial services industry. As part of its strategy to recruit, retain, develop and engage a diverse workforce, the company hosts annual Women’s Advisor Summits and sponsors the Ameriprise Women’s Empowerment (WE) Network.

SHOOK Research considered women advisors with a child 21 or younger still living at home. Ranking algorithm is based on qualitative measures derived from telephone and in-person interviews and surveys: service models, investing process, client retention, industry experience, review of compliance records, firm nominations, etc.; and quantitative criteria, such as assets under management and revenue generated for their firms. Investment performance is not a criterion because client objectives and risk tolerances vary, and advisors rarely have audited performance reports. Rankings are based on the opinions of SHOOK Research, LLC. Neither SHOOK nor Working Mother receive compensation from the advisors or their firms in exchange for placement on a ranking.
