UKG Earns Prestigious Top HR Product of the Year Honor

Award from The HR Technology Conference and Human Resource Executive Magazine Highlights Innovative UKG Life-work Technologies Approach to Solution Design

LOWELL, Mass. & WESTON, Fla.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group), a leading global provider of human capital management (HCM), payroll, HR service delivery, and workforce management solutions, today announced it has earned a prestigious “Top HR Product of the Year” award from The HR Technology Conference and Human Resource Executive Magazine. The annual award program recognizes solution providers for innovative products that help businesses meet HR’s constantly evolving needs.

UKG earned the award for UKG Pro Coaching and Development, a talent management offering that is woven into the full-suite Pro HCM solution. The offering uses artificial intelligence-powered conversational analysis to improve coaching discussions by factoring in people’s needs and emotions. These unique capabilities, combined with ongoing feedback, can help people leaders have more productive conversations with their teammates, helping to build trust, develop resilience, and boost engagement.

“We want to help people have great experiences at work and we think tools that inspire meaningful conversation between managers and employees are central to that experience,” said Chris Todd, president at UKG. “Whether it’s responding to rapidly changing customer needs or raising the bar for HCM technology with our leading innovations, UKG solutions help create people-centric workplaces everywhere.”

Long recognizing that life and work are intertwined, UKG introduced its Life-work Technology approach to solution design earlier this year. By creating solutions that empower people to thrive both at work and in life, the Life-work Technology philosophy helps people excel through solutions that uncover what inspires them to do their best work. This is achieved by bringing together a deep understanding of people, their work preferences, and their aspirations, with holistic data about work patterns, efficiencies, and behaviors, helping the business achieve even greater results.

“Organizations are facing a new world of work, which is why we’re committed to helping them adapt to the uncertainties that they face with technology that is people-driven,” said Cecile Alper-Leroux, group vice president of research and innovation at UKG. “The UKG Life-work Technology approach to solution design ensures our innovations — beginning with Coaching and Development — elevate the standard for what people systems and business systems can deliver.”

“An important element for employee development is requesting and receiving timely and relevant feedback from peers and managers, but a constant challenge is making that feedback an actionable development tool,” said Steve Boese, co-chair of The HR Technology Conference and president and co-founder of H3 HR Advisors. “By leveraging advanced AI technology, UKG is making feedback and comments more easily understandable and categorizable, helping people managers foster more productive conversations with individuals and teams.”
