Leading Alternative Dispute Resolution Firm Expands Charlotte Office, Acquiring Four Mediators

Miles Mediation & Arbitration adds to their panel of neutrals as firm continues to grow

CHARLOTTE, N.C.--()--Miles Mediation & Arbitration, the fastest growing alternative dispute resolution (ADR) firm in the Southeast, announces today the expansion of their Charlotte office, acquiring four additional mediators and arbitrators to accommodate every case type, size, and complexity. The Miles Charlotte office, the only firm in Charlotte with an office dedicated to alternative dispute resolution, has continued to experience significant growth despite opening in the midst of a pandemic.

Miles Mediation & Arbitration is headquartered in Atlanta with additional offices in Charlotte, Savannah, Nashville, and Jacksonville. The firm specializes in mediation, arbitration, and all forms of dispute management, and has a reputation for delivering exceptional client service coupled with successful results. The firm handles a broad range of cases including complex, multi-party disputes.

The firm’s Charlotte neutrals are all attorneys or former judges and have deep knowledge and expertise in areas of business, commercial, employment, construction, professional negligence, insurance coverage, contracts, wrongful death, personal injury, and family law. Mediation, arbitration, and dispute management are often a more efficient and economical way to resolve legal and corporate disputes between parties.

“Some might have said it was an unfortunate time to expand. However, it turned out to be the perfect time, with the backlog of court cases turning to mediation for resolution,” said John Miles, CEO of Miles Mediation & Arbitration. “I’m pleased that we’ve been able to offer first-rate ADR services to the citizens of North Carolina and continue to broaden our range of expertise with these additional team members.”

In addition to the neutrals who recently joined, Miles hired Senior ADR Coordinator Katie Dolan, formerly with the Mecklenburg County Court. Her expertise in the legal industry and ability to anticipate the needs of clients in the Charlotte market made it a win-win for Miles and clients alike.

The Miles office is located at 6101 Carnegie Boulevard, Suite 450 in Charlotte. The 7,000 square-foot facility offers fully equipped, multi-use conference rooms with Zoom technology, and tools and amenities to enhance client service.

“Our sophisticated, commercial clients require top-notch space with up-to-date technology and amenities,” said Miles. “As we do in our other markets, we provide whatever the clients need in a beautiful setting.”
