Dynamic Leader with Extensive Global Health, Nonprofit, and Clinical Expertise Joins Company

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Audere, a digital health nonprofit developing solutions to advance health equity in underserved communities, today announced that Dr. Dino Rech has been appointed as the company’s CEO. Dr. Rech will directly report to the Board of Directors and will serve as the lead executive of the organization, responsible for driving the company’s vision and implementing its strategy. Dr. Rech replaces Audere Founder, Philip Su, who will remain an advisor to the organization.

“I am excited for the opportunity to lead Audere. Having dedicated my career to the advancement of global health through research and innovation, I am passionate about Audere’s mission to develop solutions that improve community health outcomes in low- and middle-income countries. The coronavirus pandemic emphasized the need for easily accessible, accurate diagnostic tools as an initial step to control and prevent disease. I look forward to partnering with the talented team at the organization to increase access to innovative global health tools.”
- Dr. Dino Rech, CEO, Audere

Former Group Director & Regional Chief Operating Officer of The Aurum Institute, Dr. Rech managed the organization’s business development team, responsible for introducing new strategies and innovation to its projects, and led one of the largest HIV care and treatment programs in South Africa. Dr. Rech was Founder and CEO of the Centre for HIV and AIDS Prevention Studies (CHAPS), which reached over 500,000 people with lifesaving HIV prevention, education, testing, and surgeries during his tenure at the organization. His team at CHAPS developed the leading surgical delivery model for offering high-volume surgery at a fraction of the cost, which is widely used across 14 countries to scale clinical operations and improve healthcare outcomes. Dr. Rech is a recognized global health leader, published researcher, and ER physician with first-hand knowledge of how technology can both help and hinder clinical workflows.

“Dr. Rech is tailor-made to bring Audere into its next phase as a company. His experience leading teams in the global health and digital health spaces will enable him to build upon Audere’s foundation as a research organization and evolve its operating model to maximize impact.
