PointClickCare Named to The Globe and Mail’s Ranking of Canada’s Top Growing Companies for the Second Consecutive Year

Continued growth further positions the company to improve care delivery through quality data-driven insights.

MISSISSAUGA, Ontario--(BUSINESS WIRE)--PointClickCare, the leader in cloud-based healthcare software for the long-term and post-acute care market, is pleased to announce its recognition on the 2021 Report of Canada’s Top Growing Companies for the second consecutive year. Canada’s Top Growing Companies, conducted by The Globe and Mail, ranks Canadian businesses on three-year revenue growth. PointClickCare earned its spot with three-year growth of 76%.

“Since founding PointClickCare in 2000, my brother Mike and I have worked hard with our team to successfully grow the company to become Canada’s largest private software company, employing over 1,700 people and serving over 21,000 care providers across North America,” said Dave Wessinger, Co-founder and CEO at PointClickCare. “We’re looking forward to continued growth as we unite the company around our broader mission to improve healthcare through technology and the power of data.”

After 20 years of major accomplishments including capital raises, product integrations, partnerships and acquisitions, PointClickCare has grown exponentially, driven by a desire to disrupt the status quo. The company is advancing the healthcare ecosystem and maximizing the potential of value-based care across the full care continuum.

“We believe the success of our people-first organization starts with individual employee successes,” said Julieann Esper-Rainville, President at PointClickCare. “We are very proud of this recognition as it reinforces our philosophy of working hard, being a good teammate, never giving up and having fun while doing it.”

Launched in 2019, the Canada’s Top Growing Companies editorial ranking aims to celebrate entrepreneurial achievement in Canada by identifying and amplifying the success of growth-minded, independent businesses in Canada. It is a voluntary program; companies had to complete an in-depth application process to qualify. In total, 448 companies earned a spot on this year’s ranking.

“Any business leader seeking inspiration should look no further than the 448 businesses on this year’s Report on Business ranking of Canada’s Top Growing Companies,” says Phillip Crawley, Publisher and CEO of The Globe and Mail. “Their growth helps to make Canada a better place, and we are proud to bring their stories to our readers.”

The full list of 2021 winners, and accompanying editorial coverage, is published in the October issue of Report on Business magazine—out now—and online.
