Lightmatter Adds Marvell President and Cavium Founder, Raghib Hussain to Board of Directors

Innovator and technology leader brings experience leading global growth of disruptive technologies

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Lightmatter, the leader in photonic computing, today announced it has appointed Raghib Hussain, President of Products and Technologies at Marvell, to its board of directors. Raghib joins the Lightmatter board with over 20 years of experience driving innovative commercial strategy in communications, security, networking, computing and semiconductor technologies.

As President of Products and Technologies at Marvell, Raghib oversees the company’s businesses and technologies and is responsible for defining overall strategy, aligning roadmaps, monitoring and prioritizing product development, leading innovation and driving growth. Raghib also has oversight of the Office of the CTO – the driving force behind Marvell’s long-term technology vision and strategy transformation efforts. Raghib earned a B.S. in Computer Systems Engineering from NED University in Karachi, Pakistan, and an M.S. in Computer Engineering from San Jose State University. He holds more than 40 patents in the fields of networking and security.
