Zayo Appoints Mindy Mount to Board of Directors

BOULDER, Colo.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Zayo Group Holdings, a leading global provider of fiber-based communications solutions, announced today that Melinda “Mindy” Mount has joined its Board of Directors, and will serve as Chair of the Audit Committee. Mount, having led large divisions at multiple global media and technology companies, brings a unique and diverse viewpoint to a Board already filled with communications infrastructure veterans.

Most recently, Mount was president of Jawbone, a consumer technology and wearable products company. Prior to Jawbone, Mount worked at Microsoft, where she held various finance and operational leadership roles including Corporate Vice-President and Chief Financial Officer for the Online Services Division and the Corporate Vice-President of Operations and Finance for the Entertainment and Device Division. She also held executive leadership roles at AOL and Time Warner, and she specialized in mergers and acquisitions as an investment banker with Morgan Stanley.

Mount is currently a board member of the Learning Care Group, Cerner Corporation and Group Nine Acquisition Corp. She is also Vice Chairman of the Board and Chair of the Audit Committee for Technicolor.

Mount holds a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Actuarial Science and Operations Research from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and an MBA with distinction from Harvard Business School.
