ioXt Alliance to Host Building Controls Event

The event will bring together leaders in building security to discuss the latest industry trends and best practices

NEWPORT BEACH, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The ioXt Alliance, the global standard for IoT security, announced its upcoming ioXt Building Controls webinar. Taking place on July 21, 2021 at 12 p.m. ET, this event will share insights from security leaders for securing buildings and large campuses and will focus on the needs of some of the largest property management companies and best practices that should be adapted into facilities.

“As the IoT ecosystem continues to grow exponentially, it is becoming increasingly important that we address security in all aspects of our highly-connected world, including commercial buildings and the connected control systems built in them,” said Brad Ree, CTO of the ioXt Alliance. “By bringing together industry experts from major technology companies and manufacturers, the ioXt Alliance is primed to address these security concerns and can shed light on security best practices to protect all end-users. This webinar will open with keynote speaker Asem Elshimi, Product Marketing Manager, Building Automation, IoT, Silicon Labs, and will be followed by a panel discussion which will center on the needs of some of the largest property management companies, the system integrators who support them, and some of the leading manufacturers of connected building systems. The panel will include leaders from CBRE, Google Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS), Delta Controls and Buildings IoT with moderator Kevin Callahan from Honeywell International, Inc.
