StreamSets Announces Beta of StreamSets Summer ‘21

New Offering Brings the Power of DataOps to the Cloud

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--StreamSets, Inc., the provider of the industry’s first DataOps platform, today announced the opening of the beta program for StreamSets Summer ‘21. StreamSets Summer ‘21 is the next evolution of the StreamSets DataOps Platform, an end-to-end data engineering platform for building, deploying and monitoring smart data pipelines, now delivered as an easy-to-use cloud service.

With the exponential growth in cloud data platforms, and the rapid adoption of modern and cost-effective technologies such as Apache Spark and Snowpark, the data and analytics environment is more complex and dynamic than ever. COVID-19 accelerated these trends; as a result, the vast majority of enterprises now have hybrid data architectures, with data sources and data platforms scattered across on-premises infrastructures as well as multiple clouds. Operationalizing data pipelines to integrate data across these hybrid enterprises, in the face of constant changes in the data and the environment, is a key barrier to delivering the data needed by the business.

StreamSets Summer ‘21 is specifically designed to marry the power of StreamSets’ enterprise-grade data engineering platform with the ease of the cloud, taking cloud data integration far beyond simplistic data loading and ingestion use cases. Key features of this latest release of the StreamSets DataOps Platform include:

  • A single, cloud-native experience for creating and deploying all types of data integration patterns in minutes, including batch, streaming, change data capture (CDC), ELT, ETL and machine learning.
  • A single pane of glass for operating and monitoring all data pipelines, on-premises or in the cloud, for full transparency and control across hybrid environments that can be set up in just hours.
  • Smart data pipelines that are resilient to changes in data schema, structure or deployment, allowing data engineers to eliminate 80% of maintenance and break-fix tasks.

“With StreamSets Summer ’21, users will be able to access the power of the StreamSets DataOps Platform to handle the breadth of enterprise workloads, while being able to get up and running fast on the cloud,” said Arvind Prabhakar, CTO of StreamSets. “As more organizations build out their DataOps practices, StreamSets Summer ’21 will be key to enabling continuous data operations in the cloud.”

“StreamSets Summer ’21 includes powerful new features for scaling out data and analytics infrastructures across many environments,” said Keith Gaputis, Axis Group. “With StreamSets Summer ‘21, we can onboard users in minutes, and provide our customers with greater visibility and manageability as they scale.”

StreamSets Summer ‘21 beta is available as of today. Please visit www.streamsets.com/beta-sign-up/ to participate.
