Andrew Bond Strengthens Cross-Border Corporate Practice

CENTURY CITY, Calif.--()--Sheppard, Mullin, Richter & Hampton LLP is pleased to announce that Andrew J. Bond has joined the firm as a partner in the Corporate and Securities practice group and will be a member of its Capital Markets and Public Companies industry team. Bond was most recently a partner at Davis Wright Tremaine LLP. He is the ninth lateral partner to join Sheppard Mullin in 2021.

Bond is a corporate attorney with a broad-based securities law practice. He represents clients in cross-border capital markets and public company mergers and acquisitions transactions. He also advises Canadian clients on the listing requirements on the NYSE, NASDAQ, and the platforms operated by the OTC Markets Group. He previously practiced in Canada, where he advised both U.S. and Canadian issuers on registered securities offerings, private placements, and Securities Exchange Act compliance.

Bond received his Bachelor of Commerce (Honours) and his B.A. in Political Studies from Queen’s University, his LL.B from the University of Windsor (where he was an Editorial Board Member of the Windsor Review for Legal and Social Issues), and his J.D. from the University of Detroit Mercy School of Law. He is admitted to practice in California, Washington, D.C. and Washington State and was previously admitted in British Columbia.
