Granite Wins U.S. Postal Service 2020 Supplier Excellence Award

Carrier Delivers Critical Voice and Data Services Nationally

QUINCY, Mass.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Granite Telecommunications LLC, a $1.65 billion provider of communications services to multilocation businesses and government agencies, today announced that it has received the 2020 Supplier Excellence Award from the U.S. Postal Service. It is the second time in the past decade that Granite has earned this recognition from the Postal Service.

The Postal Service's Supplier Recognition program has celebrated the efforts of suppliers that make outstanding contributions to the agency's success with awards in multiple categories. The Supplier Excellence Awards recognize suppliers with extraordinary contract compliance by providing exceptional quality and on-time delivery performance. Recipients also are contributors to the success of the Postal Service's supply chain management operational performance improvement effort. Suppliers also demonstrate extraordinary postal employee or public safety special achievement or awareness and help the Postal Service achieve its environmental goals.

Since obtaining business in 2003, Granite has forged a valuable relationship with the Postal Service, providing voice and broadband connections and support at tens of thousands of locations. Granite has also implemented proofs of concept to modernize voice and data connections at Post Service locations, including devising next-generation, managed IP replacement products and services.
