BTIG Names Andrew Dalgleish and Trevor Harrison Co-Heads of BTIG Asia-Pacific and Samuel Leung Chief Strategy Officer of BTIG Hong Kong Limited

NEW YORK & HONG KONG & SINGAPORE & SYDNEY & TOKYO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--BTIG announced today that Andrew Dalgleish and Trevor Harrison have been named Co-Heads of BTIG Asia-Pacific. In addition, Samuel Leung has been named Chief Strategy Officer of BTIG Hong Kong Limited, reporting directly to Mr. Dalgleish and Mr. Harrison.

They will each also continue in their current roles with the firm, where they focus on BTIG’s institutional, outsource and electronic trading clients in the region. Mr. Dalgleish is the current Chief Executive Officer of BTIG Australia Limited, Mr. Harrison, Chief Executive Officer of BTIG Singapore Pte. Ltd., and Head of BTIG Asia-Pacific Client Relationship Management, and Mr. Leung, Head of Electronic Trading and Technology for BTIG Asia-Pacific. In their new roles, they will assume full responsibility for developing a framework and blueprint for continued growth and success throughout the Asia-Pacific region. Mr. Dalgleish will continue to be based in Sydney, Australia while Mr. Harrison will remain Singapore-based. In addition to Mr. Leung’s current responsibilities in Hong Kong, he will assume operational oversight of the office together with Mr. Harrison.

In Sydney, the firm recently hired Sam Coates, former Head of European Sales Trading at Royal Bank of Canada in London, and Christian Clementson, a former Director of Sales Trading at Société Générale. In Singapore, Andrew Jackson, former Head of Japanese Equities at SooChow, joined the firm as well.
