Washington State Department of Health Selects Box for Cloud Content Management

(NYSE: BOX), a leading Content Cloud, today announced that Washington State Department of Health selected Box’s cloud content management platform to collaborate on content critical for addressing environmental health hazards in communities, licensing healthcare professionals and providing reliable health and safety information.

It has never been more critical for the Washington State Department of Health to be able to seamlessly collaborate on content in the fight against COVID-19. The global pandemic has exponentially increased the need for secure document collaboration with external partners. With Box, the Washington State Department of Health will continue to deliver the latest information when it comes to the ongoing pandemic while accelerating internal and external collaboration on critical incident response and critical healthcare initiatives for the state.

Washington State Department of Health purchased Box to:

  • Efficiently and securely share incident management response information between Department of Health, other state agencies, local health jurisdictions, healthcare providers and many others
  • Facilitate requests for information from external entities for site reporting in the effort to achieve vaccination site preparedness and implementation throughout the state
  • Accommodate sharing of large files and real-time access to information for internal and external collaborators
