Sterling Trading Tech Unveils a New Order Management System

CHICAGO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Sterling Trading Tech (STT), a leader in technology solutions for the equities, equity options, and futures, will launch a sell-side Order Management System allowing clients to streamline their trading operations later this year.

The STT OMS will allow Sterling clients to consolidate their order flow from multiple platforms allowing for cross platform risk and compliance checks as well as reporting. All Sterling platforms, third-party providers, and orders delivered via API will be integrated to connect and utilize the OMS as its transactional ledger via a FIX API or REST API for two-way data transport. Additionally, routing can be handled natively via the STT EMS or routed to a third-party EMS for execution.

Clients currently use STT products to fulfill their order management system needs. The new Sterling OMS offering will consolidate existing functionality as well as new advanced capability. The offering will include a new advanced web-based admin console with the ability to set pre-trade risk controls, provide the ability to manage and interact with order flow and positions in real-time in addition to full compliance reporting for CAT, OATS and trade reporting with a diverse array of execution destinations.

The Sterling OMS will initially handle multiple asset classes, including Equities, Single Leg and Multi-Leg Equity Options, Canadian Equities and Canadian Equity Options, with plans to expand to Digital currency assets, Fixed Income, FX, Futures, and US Options on Futures.
