Nucleus Research Q2 2021 Equity Snapshot: SAP

“Well-established market presence” bodes well for company’s future

MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Nucleus Research, which provides ROI-focused technology research and analysis services, has published its Q2 2021 Equity Snapshot analyzing the market position of enterprise applications provider SAP.

The Equity Snapshot points to SAP’s “large and diverse customer base” as an enabler for the company to thrive in tough economic conditions. Research Manager Trevor White points out SAP is one of the few vendors to offer a full suite of enterprise applications, making SAP’s ecosystem more appealing to potential customers, but faces growing competition as it transitions existing customers to the cloud.

While SAP competitor Oracle has been quick to note customers making a switch to their products, it should be noted Google’s parent company, Alphabet, recently decided to move from Oracle to SAP.

“SAP continues to be a leading provider of enterprise applications for a wide range of business use cases with expertise in a multitude of industries – all of which position SAP for continued success in the near future,” says White.

Nucleus Research’s annual Value Matrix assessments listed SAP as an “Expert” in the Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP), Customer Relationship Management (CRM), Human Capital Management (HCM), Supply Chain Planning (SCP), and Analytics Technology categories.
