Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance Names Idie Si as Head of Accident & Health Insurance, Asia

BOSTON & SINGAPORE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Berkshire Hathaway Specialty Insurance (BHSI) today announced that it has appointed Idie Si as Head of Accident & Health (A&H) Insurance for the region.

Idie comes to BHSI with over a decade of experience focused on A&H insurance in the Asia and London markets. She was most recently Senior Accident & Health Underwriter at Canopius Asia Pte Ltd in Singapore. Prior to that she was an Accident & Health Underwriter at Tokio Marine Kiln Syndicate Ltd, in its Hong Kong, Singapore and London offices. Idie holds a bachelor’s degree from the University of Denver in Colorado.
