Hurricane Electric Adds Additional High Speed IP Transit in The Pacific Northwest With New Point of Presence in Spokane

Fifth Point of Presence in Washington brings robust, high-speed connectivity to the Inland Northwest

SPOKANE, Wash.--()--Hurricane Electric, the world’s largest IPv6-native Internet backbone announced today that it has deployed a new Point of Presence (PoP) in Neutron Spokane. The new PoP is located 422 W. Riverside Ave., Suite 1401, Spokane WA 99201 in the historic Old National Bank building.

The Neutron Spokane data center is connected to Neutron’s Coeur d’Alene data center and their connectivity hub in Seattle. This PoP is strategically located to serve customers in the Pacific Northwest. With over 50,000 ft2 total space and 2,000 ft2 of raised floor colocation space, users get secure, high-performance connections to more than 20 carriers with guaranteed 24/7 uptime.

Spokane is known as the regional hub for IT, communications, telecommunications and data services, and is home to more than 430 IT businesses. The Spokane area also offers a robust technology workforce and continues to invest in STEM programs in the region through the Spokane STEM Program.
