LAFAYETTE, Calif.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Inc. magazine today revealed that HST Pathways is No. 185 on its second annual Inc. 5000 Regionals: California list, the most prestigious ranking of the fastest-growing California-based private companies. Born of the annual Inc. 5000 franchise, this regional list represents a unique look at the most successful companies within the California economy’s most dynamic segment—its independent small businesses.
“With the addition of Casetabs to the HST Pathways offerings, along with our recent launch of the HST One premiere membership program, it’s an honor to once again be recognized as one of the fastest growing companies with the Inc. 5000 award,” said Tom Hui, CEO & Founder of HST Pathways. “The ambulatory surgery industry has grown tremendously over the past decade, and as the leading cloud-based provider, our mission has always been to meet the needs of our clients in new and innovative ways. The growth in our company is reflective of our success in doing just that.”
The companies on this list show stunning rates of growth across all industries in California. Between 2017 and 2019, these private companies had an average growth rate of 535% and, in 2019 alone, they employed more than 40,000 people and added nearly $7 billion to the California economy. Companies based in major metro areas—Los Angeles, the Bay Area, and San Diego—brought in the highest revenue overall.
HST Pathways now has 160 employees, with offices in Lafayette and Irvine, CA, as well as Nashville, TN, and Guilford, CT. HST Pathways’ software provides many ways for its 1,300 clients to achieve operational efficiencies and increase profits, including but not limited to solutions for surgery scheduling, practice management, patient and physician communication, and billing and collections.
Complete results of the Inc. 5000 Regionals: California, including company profiles and an interactive database that can be sorted by industry, metro area, and other criteria, can be found on the Inc. 5000 Regionals page.
“This list proves the power of companies in California no matter the industry,” says Inc. editor-in-chief Scott Omelianuk. “The impressive revenues and growth rates prove the insight and diligence of CEOs and that these businesses are here to stay.”
HST Pathways was among the inaugural award winners when the Inc. 5000 Series: California launched in 2020. This award marks the second in the California series for the company.
