MIAMI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Insigneo, the Miami-based Independent Broker-Dealer and Registered Investment Advisory firm, has incorporated new top talent from Wells Fargo, as a team of leading financial advisors have joined the firm’s independent network based in Miami, following the news that Wells Fargo will be closing the doors on their International Wealth Management unit. The team is comprised of Financial Advisors Alain Guerra and Edward Varona, along with their Sales Associate, Vivian Pino.
The team manages over $345 million in client assets from the United States, Colombia, Argentina, Ecuador, and Venezuela.
Guerra, a graduate of Christopher Columbus Senior High School and Florida International University, is a Miami native with over 22 years of experience in the financial industry. He began his career at ABN Amro Bank, before joining Wachovia Securities/Wells Fargo Advisors as a Financial Advisor for the last 18 years.
Varona was born and raised in Newark, New Jersey, but is no stranger to Miami, having resided there for the past 29 years. He spent 3 years as a licensed banker for Wachovia, before joining Wells Fargo as a Vice President-Investment Officer in 2010.
“At Insigneo we found a firm headquartered in Miami – a gateway to the Americas – offering an open architecture for the advisor, that embraces the offshore client, as well as US residents,” said Edward Varona.
The team specializes in holistic investment solutions for ultra-high net worth clients. At Insigneo, they will leverage the digital technology offering as well as the firm’s multi-custody capabilities, broad product offering and tailored investment solutions.
“We are honored to have Alain and Edward join Insigneo and trust us to support their growing business,” said Javier Rivero, Chief Operating Officer. “A team of this caliber choosing independence is further proof that client needs are better served in an open architecture platform like Insigneo for both US and global clients.”
