LOS ANGELES--()--InStride, the premier global provider of strategic enterprise education™ programs, announced the addition of former eBay, Hewlett-Packard and HPE CEO Meg Whitman to the InStride Advisory Board (IAB). Whitman becomes the eighth member of the IAB, joining leaders from Cardinal Health, Citibank, Disney, Ford, KPMG, Michael’s and Regal Entertainment.

Whitman started her professional career at Procter & Gamble and then had prominent roles at Bain & Co., The Walt Disney Company, StrideRite, FTD and Hasbro, Inc. In 1998, Whitman became the president and CEO of eBay, where one of her first responsibilities was the preparation of the company’s initial public offering. During her tenure, eBay would grow from $4 million in sales and 30 employees to more than $8 billion in sales and 15,000 employees. Whitman later joined technology giant Hewlett-Packard (HP) in 2011 as president and CEO, guiding the company’s turnaround and restructuring, and serving as CEO of Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) and chair of HP, Inc. from 2015 through 2017.

She most recently served as CEO of Quibi from 2018 through 2020 and currently sits on the boards of Immortals and Procter & Gamble. She is a passionate advocate for education and serves as the national Board Chair for Teach for America, an organization that recruits diverse leaders to teach for two years in low-income communities to expand educational opportunities for children.
