The Standard Hires Christopher Halpin as Retirement Plan Consultant

PORTLAND, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--The Standard announced the hiring of Christopher Halpin as a retirement plan consultant. He will work with advisors and TPAs in Kansas, Missouri and southern Illinois.

Halpin has 20 years of experience working with investments and retirement plans. He is a Chartered Retirement Plans Specialist®, an Accredited Retirement Plan Consultant® and holds Series 7, 63 and 65 securities licenses.

“Chris brings a unique set of skills gained through a very diverse work history within the retirement plan community,” said Todd Thompson, regional sales director at The Standard. “He has worked as a wholesaler and defined contribution investment only representative. He has also led a broker-dealer sales desk. Chris will offer experienced perspectives and solid solutions as he collaborates with advisors and TPAs in Kansas, Missouri and southern Illinois.”

Halpin holds a Bachelor of Science in business administration from Montclair State University.
