The Standard Promotes Harrison Weaver to Second Vice President and Actuary, Corporate Actuarial and Risk Management

PORTLAND, Ore.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Standard Insurance Company (The Standard) has promoted Harrison Weaver to second vice president and actuary, Corporate Actuarial and Risk Management. In his new role, Weaver will lead the risk measurement and modeling functions for The Standard.

Weaver joined The Standard in 2016 as an actuary. In his time at The Standard, Weaver has held leadership positions in Individual Annuities and Retirement Plans in addition to Corporate Actuarial and Risk Management.

Prior to joining The Standard, Weaver spent several years as a senior consultant at Oliver Wyman and as an actuary at Western & Southern Financial Group.

Weaver received a bachelor’s degree in mathematics from Clemson University.
