From the makers of America’s #1 premium wine brand comes a delightful, pink sparkling wine with fine bubbles and crisp flavors of citrus, light berry, and peach. Following approval from the Prosecco D.O.C. Consortium, Cupcake Prosecco Rosé will be among the first of the all-new varietal to hit U.S. shelves nationwide in January 2021.
Crafted in northern Italy, Cupcake Prosecco Rosé offers a taste of the familiar in a new, exciting experience. Wine lovers can expect to find aromas of fresh citrus and peach from traditional Glera grapes found in classic Prosecco, but with delicate notes of berry and a romantic pink hue thanks to crushed and pressed Pinot Noir grapes.
“The Italian hills between Asolo, Conegliano and Valdobbiadene are some of my favorite grape-growing regions in the world,” says Cupcake Winemaker Jessica Tomei. “I’m so excited to finally bring home our delicious Prosecco Rosé from those vineyards and toast to rosier days ahead in the new year.”
Cupcake Prosecco Rosé is aged in the traditional Charmat method for 60 days, which produces delicate, long-lasting bubbles during a secondary fermentation in steel. The resulting vintage wine is bright, vibrant and wonderfully fizzy.
Cupcake Prosecco Rosé joins Cupcake’s beloved collection of celebratory sparkling wines, which includes classic Prosecco, Cava, Sparkling Rosé, and Moscato d’Asti.
