World Insurance Announces New Appointment to Board of Directors

TINTON FALLS, N.J.--(BUSINESS WIRE)--World Insurance Associates LLC (WIA), a Top 100 insurance brokerage majority owned by Charlesbank Capital Partners (“Charlesbank”), announced today that it has appointed Tom Ealy to its board of directors.

Mr. Ealy is a highly accomplished leader and operating executive with uncommon business acumen gained over 35 years leading large risk-taking and market-making insurance organizations. Most recently he served as the President & CEO of Ameriprise Auto & Home, turning the insurer around before selling it in 2019. Prior to that, Mr. Ealy served as President of Allstate’s independent agency carrier, Encompass Insurance; Chief Operating Officer of Willis Towers Watson North America; and Midwest regional executive for USI.
