WebBank Announces New Board Member Jana Schmidt

NEW YORK--()--WebBank, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Steel Partners Holdings LP (NYSE: SPLP), today announced the appointment of Jana Schmidt to the Company’s Board of Directors effective November 19, 2020.

Ms. Schmidt is a current Board Member of Girl Talk, an Atlanta not-for-profit organization. Schmidt also served as a Member of the Young Presidents’ Organization, a Board Member for OpTerra Energy Services, and as Board Advisor for Junior Achievement of Georgia.

As President & CEO of Harland Clarke Corp. (HC) from 2017 to April 2020, a customer engagement company with $1B in annual revenue, Schmidt protected the core payments business and delivered growth in the technology-enabled marketing services business. As a part of the transformation strategy, Schmidt led the acquisition of QuickPivot, a MarTech platform, becoming the CEO of QuickPivot, along with Harland Clarke, in September 2019.

In a prior role as President and CEO at Ecova (now ENGIE Impact) from 2014 to 2017, a global energy and sustainability analytics company, she advanced the core data management and energy consultancy business while expanding its energy efficiency services. During her tenure, she strengthened Ecova’s market position through the acquisition of the technology platform company, Retroficiency, which provided automated building analytics.

She has a B.S. cum laude from Colorado State University and completed advanced programs at Emory University’s Goizueta Business School and Harvard Business School.
