Telia Carrier Extends Partnership and Channel Coverage with Telarus in Canada and UK

STOCKHOLM--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Telia Carrier today announced an expanded partnership with Telarus, LLC., the largest privately-held master agent of business cloud infrastructure and SaaS providers in the United States. Through the expanded partnership, Telarus will offer Telia Carrier’s complete suite of IP Transit, Cloud Connect, DDoS Mitigation and Ethernet services to its expansive network of agents, VARs and MSPs in Canada and the United Kingdom.

“Our goal is to provide our partners solutions for the exact problem they need to solve,” said Patrick Oborn, co-founder and chief product officer at Telarus. “We have seen a dramatic increase in international business, and our partners will be able to leverage Telia Carrier’s experience and presence in these markets.”

Having worked with Telarus in North America for many years, this extended partnership will allow Telia Carrier to expand that successful relationship to the Canadian and European markets.

With a network of over 4,000 technology brokers, Telarus is one of the only master agents that reinvests in developing tools to make their partners’ lives easier providing the best support organization in the industry, which includes cybersecurity, SD-WAN, Cloud, mobility, contact center, and ILEC specialty practices to help partners identify and design the right technology solutions for their customers. Telarus has been named the top master agent by the Telecom Association for the past three years – the first and only company in the carrier channel to earn this accolade.

“Our extended partnership and collaboration with Telarus is further validation of Telia Carrier’s commitment to providing exceptional network services and a positive customer experience on a global scale,” said Rob Pulkownik, Telia Carrier’s head of Channel Sales. “Telarus’ extensive agent base in the US, Canada and the UK complements our global sales force, allowing us to connect with more customers who will benefit from our services.”

In March of 2020, Telia Carrier announced its channel partner program to bolster sales and better serve enterprise end-user customers in the US market. As a part of its channel strategy, Telia Carrier also rolled out a self-service agent portal and a customer portal to attract new partners to meet accelerated market demand as organizations continue to transform their International businesses with digital solutions.
