Susquehanna Private Capital Acquires Brandywine Coach Works; Creates Quality Collision Group Investment Platform

BALA CYNWYD, Pa. --()--Susquehanna Private Capital, LLC (“SPC”) today announced the acquisition of Brandywine Coach Works (“Brandywine”), a multi-site auto repair operator headquartered in Chadds Ford, PA and the formation of Quality Collision Group (“QCG”), a holding company that will pursue strategic acquisitions of auto repair facilities throughout the U.S. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

QCG is comprised of OEM-certified collision repair centers that seek to deliver best-in-class service and exceptional customer experience. The group is guided by OEM repair methodologies and led by industry veteran Jerod Guerin, who brings more than a decade of automotive industry executive experience to the organization. QCG employs a team of 90 operating across its four Pennsylvania locations and is actively seeking to acquire repair shops in regions across the U.S.

As auto technology has advanced, independent collision and mechanic shops have largely been unable to keep pace,” said Jerod Guerin, CEO of QCG. “Our industry finds itself at an inflection point where consumers face higher repair costs and few alternatives for qualified technicians. QCG’s growing network of auto repair facilities will seek to leverage these shifting industry dynamics to provide consumers with an innovative option in OEM certified repair service. We look forward to bringing QCG to additional markets across the U.S. as we partner with like-minded businesses who share our mission.”

We are thrilled to partner with Jerod and his talented team who bring decades of auto experience to Quality Collision Group,” said Kyle Squillario, Co-Head at SPC. “We believe his deep industry expertise will prove invaluable as we expand QCG through add-on acquisitions of leading OEM-certified repair shops.”

Brandywine’s relentless focus on providing high-quality repairs and exceptional customer service align well with QCG’s objectives,” said John McGinley, Vice President at SPC. “We couldn’t be prouder to partner with such a talented team of technicians and operators.”

Founded in 2016, Susquehanna Private Capital prides itself on its ability to collaboratively and patiently work with founders, entrepreneurs, and operators to build businesses with enduring value. QCG is the fifth platform investment for SPC.
