ZeroNorth Joins Massachusetts Technology Council’s Tech Compact for Social Justice

ZeroNorth Ramps Up Commitment to Diversity and Inclusion

BOSTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--ZeroNorth, the only company to unite security, DevOps and the business through application security automation and orchestration, announced today that it has joined The Massachusetts Technology Leadership Council (MassTLC) Tech Compact for Social Justice as part of its ongoing commitment to diversity and inclusion.

The Tech Compact for Social Justice was created under the leadership of the Executive Diversity and Inclusion Steering Committee of the MassTLC Board of Trustees as a way for the industry to come together and affect meaningful change on a scale greater than any one company could achieve on its own.

In joining the Tech Compact, ZeroNorth recognizes that Boston and the tech industry have not done enough to support and encourage inclusion of Black, Latinx and Indigenous people, and accepts the responsibility to change at the company and community level to make tech in Massachusetts a more diverse, inclusive and socially just place for workers of all backgrounds. To participate in the Tech Compact, ZeroNorth committed to change in three or more areas relating to diversity, inclusion, and social justice.

“ZeroNorth is proud to join the Tech Compact for Social Justice,” said ZeroNorth CEO, John Worrall. “As a company, and as part of the local Boston and Massachusetts tech community, we have a lot of work to do to create positive change for diversity and inclusion. We remain committed to making this change happen.”

"This is a time when people are speaking out and we, as leaders, need to listen to them. This is how change happens, and that is why we launched the Tech Compact for Social Justice." stated Tom Hopcroft, CEO of MassTLC. "We recognize that Boston and the tech industry have not done enough to support and encourage the inclusion of Black, Latinx and Indigenous people and we accept our responsibility to do more to make change at the company and community level."

In addition to joining the Tech Compact for Social Justice, one of ZeroNorth’s core organizational values includes a statement regarding commitment to diversity.
