Deep Lens Announces Dr. Kamala Maddali Appointed to SCRS Oncology Board

COLUMBUS, Ohio--()--Deep Lens announced today that Kamala Maddali, DVM, PhD, has been appointed to the Society for Clinical Research Sites (SCRS) Oncology Program Board. Dr. Maddali’s appointment to the SCRS Oncology Board was effective August 12, 2020.

Dr. Maddali currently serves as Vice President of Strategic Alliances for Deep Lens. Prior to Deep Lens, Dr. Maddali served as a chief scientific and commercial executive for many notable Fortune 500 companies, including Merck and Co., Quintiles, and Quest Diagnostics, where she led strategic initiatives to foster positive growth in precision medicine. She also served as an executive advisor for several healthcare technology companies, focused on artificial intelligence, blockchain genomics, nutraceuticals, and bioinformatics, and biotechnology companies, focused on unique precision medicine driven solutions.

The SCRS board is comprised of CROs, sponsors, and sites and meets regularly to create greater efficiency and sustainability for sites working with oncology patients through education, research, and other resources. Dr. Maddali will serve as a member on three individual workstreams: SCRS Global Oncology Site Solutions Summit, SCRS Oncology Education Resources, and SCRS Oncology Assessment/Engagement.
