CINCINNATI--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Luminex Home Décor & Fragrance Company, a leading global designer and manufacturer of branded and private label décor and fragrance products across multiple channels, today announced that it has appointed new leadership. Seasoned consumer packaged goods executive Scott Meader has joined the company as CEO.

In his role, Meader will put his experience streamlining operations to work, while continuing to scale the company’s candle and décor offerings across the globe. Luminex owns and operates Candle-lite, the leader in candle and fragrance, and PartyLite, the recognized global leader in candle sales.

Meader has held various CEO-level positions for private equity portfolio companies including Ronnoco Coffee LLC, a manufacturer and distributor of coffee, tea and related beverage products, AB Mauri Fleischmann’s, a global leader in bakery ingredient manufacturing, and Milnot Holding Corp., a branded and private label food company selling to the food, drug and mass merchandiser channels.
Meader has also served as a board director for several CPG companies including Nellson Nutraceuticals, Eurofresh, Allied Blending & Ingredients and Pierre Foods. He earned a bachelor of science in mechanical engineering from Lehigh University and an MBA with honors from the Kellogg Graduate School of Management at Northwestern University, with majors in operations, finance, and marketing. Meader will be based in the company’s Blue Ash, Ohio headquarters.
