Britt Harter to Lead Guidehouse’s Sustainability Solutions in North America

Harter will leverage advisory experience to enhance client sustainability journeys

WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Guidehouse, a leading provider of management consulting services, announced today that director Britt Harter will oversee sustainability solutions and engagements for clients within the company’s Energy, Sustainability, and Infrastructure (ES&I) segment in North America.

Harter will join ES&I after serving as a director in Guidehouse’s State and Local Government advisory group, where he focused on driving environmental, social, and economic vibrancy. In his new role, he will serve as Guidehouse’s sustainability solutions lead, working to help corporate and government clients with their sustainability and decarbonization journeys, as well as the lead for the North American team serving large corporate clients.

“Britt blends strategic thinking and pragmatism to help organizations deliver their sustainability outcomes and initiatives successfully by using a combination of strong program management, collaboration, innovation, and implementation,” said Jan Vrins, leader of Guidehouse’s global ES&I segment. “We are excited for him to bring his unique experience to a broader set of clients throughout the North American region.”

In his previous role at Guidehouse, Harter was instrumental in producing award-winning sustainability plans for Los Angeles and San Jose, California, and creating economic recovery plans for Puerto Rico and Detroit. Prior to that, Harter spent 10 years in PwC’s Sustainable Business Solutions practice and a boutique firm, acquired by PwC, that focused on environmental sustainability strategy for large corporates. Originally trained as a research scientist, Harter is the winner of numerous scientific research grants, and his research has been published in several leading academic journals.

“I am thrilled to continue my journey with Guidehouse and look forward to becoming a trusted advisor to more of our clients as they adapt their strategies and operations for a better, sustainable future,” Harter said.
