PEMCO Mutual Insurance Appoints New Director of Product Management

Abeer Abu-Emarah will oversee the company’s product team and support its ongoing initiatives to achieve profitable growth

SEATTLE--(BUSINESS WIRE)--PEMCO Mutual Insurance recently announced that Abeer Abu-Emarah will transition to the role of director of product management, capitalizing on her proven history at the company and insight into successful product strategies.

Abu-Emarah joined PEMCO in 2018 as the director of underwriting operations and analytics, where she helped PEMCO responsibly evaluate risk and develop policies that align with the company’s business objectives. With 13 years of experience in product organizations, Abu-Emarah’s prior success in effectively managing products will enable PEMCO to continuously improve pricing segmentation enterprise-wide.

Before joining PEMCO, Abu-Emarah served in several product management roles, including senior director of state operations at Liberty Mutual. She holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in finance and minor in computer and software systems from the University of Washington.
