Taxpayers Against Fraud Names New Chief Executive Officer

WASHINGTON--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Neil Getnick, Chairman of the Board of Taxpayers Against Fraud (TAF) and the TAF Education Fund (TAFEF), announced today that Jeb White has been named President and CEO of TAF and TAFEF.

Jeb returns to the same leadership position he held at both organizations from 2007 to 2010. He also previously served as TAFEF’s Director of Legal Education from 2004 to 2007. In both roles, he led a succession of legislative victories that helped shape the framework of federal and state whistleblower laws.

Since 2010, Jeb has served as a partner at one of the nation’s most prestigious whistleblower law firms and has represented whistleblowers in qui tam actions across the country. Over the past 10 years, he has continued to serve in leadership roles at TAFEF, as a member of the Board of Directors and President's Council, and has remained one of the nation's foremost lecturers on whistleblower law.

Jeb succeeds Robert Patten, who stepped down from the position after successfully leading the organizations for three years.

The Taxpayers Against Fraud Education Fund is a public interest non-profit organization dedicated to fighting fraud against the government by working to protect whistleblowers and strengthen the effective operation of the laws that empower them to expose misconduct and the theft of taxpayer dollars. These laws include the federal and state False Claims Acts; the Securities and Exchange Commission, Commodity Futures Trading Commission and Internal Revenue Service whistleblower programs; and the Motor Vehicle Safety Whistleblower Act.
