Five FireEye Leaders Honored as CRN 2020 Women of the Channel

FireEye employees Kristi Houssiere, Kimberly Jaecksch, Janice Kennedy, Karen Kukoda and Sunny Song recognized by CRN for their leadership in the channel

MILPITAS, Calif.--()--FireEye Inc., the intelligence-led security company, announced today that CRN®, a brand of The Channel Company, has named five FireEye employees – Kristi Houssiere, Kimberly Jaecksch, Janice Kennedy, Karen Kukoda and Sunny Song – to its prestigious 2020 Women of the Channel list. The leaders on this annual listing are from all areas of the IT channel ecosystem; representing technology suppliers, distributors, solution providers, and other IT organizations. Each is recognized for their contributions to channel advocacy, channel growth and visionary leadership.

CRN editors chose the list from a multitude of channel leadership applicants and selected the final honorees based on their professional accomplishments, thought leadership, demonstrated expertise, and ongoing dedication to the IT channel.

Each of these FireEye employees brings their own unique contribution to the channel, as summarized below:

As Senior Director of National Sales, Kristi Houssiere has been included on CRN’s Women of the Channel and Power 100 lists several times, in addition to being named one of CRN’s 2020 Channel Chiefs. Her most recent recognition came from the work she did in rolling out new partner incentives to increase profitability whilst launching new enablement and marketing offerings that help educate partners and drive market demand.

Kimberly Jaecksch is an Account Manager for Public Sector Distribution. She was nominated for Women of the Channel for a second year in a row by Carahsoft, a FireEye partner with whom she works closely. The nomination highlighted the enablement initiative she has undertaken which has much improved the ease with which Carahsoft is able to sell and market the FireEye portfolio of solutions.

As a Director of Channel Sales for Mandiant Security Validation, Janice Kennedy has made significant contributions to the 200 percent growth achieved in Validation within the strategic partner organization. In addition to bringing in numerous new partners, Kennedy was responsible for the on-boarding and enablement behind these valuable partner relationships.

Karen Kukoda is Senior Director of Cyber Risk Partners, and is responsible for driving the FireEye channel agenda in the risk management, legal, and insurance marketplaces. Kukoda’s partner impact has once again earned her a spot on CRN’s Women of the Channel list. A key reason for this year’s inclusion is the work she has done to have FireEye Email Security and FireEye Endpoint Security designated as Cyber CatalystSM solutions in the Cyber Catalyst by MarshSM program. This program helps partners and prospects identify cyber security solutions that can have a meaningful impact on cyber risk, based on an evaluation led by independent leading cyber insurers.

Sunny Song is Senior Manager of Partner Programs and Operations. Her recognition stems from introducing the new FireEye Affinity Partner Program. This provides a streamlined process for resellers and distributors to access incentives, program benefits and enablement, all through a rebranded partner portal.

“To have five FireEye employees recognized by CRN on this year’s Women of the Channel list signifies the fantastic work of these individuals and their teams,” said Bill Robbins, EVP, Chief Revenue Officer & GM of Products at FireEye. “Our partner program and our solution set has benefitted from several changes in recent times, from the introduction of partner friendly billing and subscription models, to an enhanced online partner portal offering everything a partner could need in one place. Our partner offering and these latest initiatives would not be where they are today without the dedication of these FireEye honorees. They are integral to our number one goal which is serving our customers with high quality security solutions.”

“CRN’s 2020 Women of the Channel list recognizes an accomplished group of influential women leaders whose strategic vision and unique achievements accelerate channel growth through cultivated partnerships, innovative thought leadership, and unwavering dedication to the IT channel,” said Bob Skelley, CEO of The Channel Company. “We are proud to honor them for their accomplishments and contributions to driving channel success.”

The 2020 Women of the Channel list will be featured in CRN® Magazine on June 8 and online at www.CRN.com/WOTC.
