Health Partners Plans Names Kevin Clancy as Chief Financial Officer

PHILADELPHIA--()--Health Partners Plans (HPP) announced today that managed care executive Kevin Clancy will join the company as Chief Financial Officer (CFO) effective May 4, 2020.

Clancy brings more than 37 years of financial leadership at managed care organizations across the country, including commercial, Medicaid, Medicare and CHIP health care plans. As CFO, Clancy will be responsible for financial plans, policies and practices for all of HPP’s lines of business.

“Kevin has extensive financial, operational and strategic experience with managed care organizations, and we know his expertise will help propel HPP into our next great chapter,” said HPP President and CEO Denise Napier. “We are delighted to have such a high-caliber executive join the HPP leadership team.”

Clancy is deeply experienced in financial planning and analysis, budgeting and forecasting, financial operations, treasury, health care analytics, legal and enterprise risk, as well as Medicare sales strategy and risk scoring.

Most recently, Clancy served as vice president and chief financial officer for UnitedHealthcare/Rocky Mountain Health Plans in Colorado, responsible for profit and loss for the company’s commercial, Medicaid, CHIP and Medicare lines of business. Previously, Clancy was vice president, finance, chief financial officer and interim chief operating officer at FamilyCare, a coordinated care organization based in Portland, Oregon. Prior to FamilyCare, Clancy served as the vice president, finance for Anthem/Amerigroup in Houston, Texas.

Clancy holds a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Ball State University and an MBA from Butler University. He has also served on a variety of business and community boards across the country.
