New Relic Advances Partner Program to Accelerate Modern Software Initiatives

Partners including PagerDuty, Rackspace, and Tech Mahindra achieve customer success with New Relic observability platform

SAN FRANCISCO--(BUSINESS WIRE)--New Relic, Inc. (NYSE: NEWR), the industry's largest and most comprehensive cloud-based observability platform built to help customers create more perfect software, announced today enhanced partner programs from the New Relic Partner Network (NRPN) along with recent momentum from its partners.

New Relic’s vast ecosystem of partners is leveraging our observability platform to accelerate customers’ most important business initiatives, such as cloud adoption, application modernization, and digital customer experience. The refreshed New Relic Partner Network brings new opportunities to collaborate with our partner ecosystem and help create more perfect software to drive business outcomes,” said Todd Osborne, group vice president, alliances and channels, New Relic.

NRPN was designed for ease of engagement and flexible business models, built for partners to leverage the New Relic observability platform as they go to market with a solutions approach. Within NRPN, New Relic is launching its first-ever Technology Partner Program, enabling hundreds of existing integration partners to participate in go-to-market benefits and create New Relic One applications with the platform’s programmability features – to integrate their best of breed business data and create seamless workflows on the New Relic platform. NRPN now also expands and tailors program benefits for channel partners that may have multiple business models, including:

With a focus on accelerating the customer’s journey to the cloud, DevOps, and modern software, NRPN now offers:

  • Technical and sales enablement to build and strengthen partner team competency and capabilities, with a combination of self-service, virtual, and instructor led training delivery options.
  • A certification program delivered through New Relic University that offers a comprehensive observability-focused curriculum across the entire New Relic platform.
  • Access to demand generation assets and tools, such as playbooks and event-in-a-box templates to help identify and drive opportunities with customers.
  • A partner portal experience that is easy to navigate and is a one-stop platform for all the tools partners need to be more productive, to build revenue, develop marketing initiatives and educate their teams.

Partner momentum with New Relic’s observability platform

As customers go through their cloud journey, they often use a myriad of consultants, service providers and technology providers, and each cloud provider has an ecosystem of partners to maximize the value of their cloud and create new ways of procuring technology and services. New Relic has developed relationships with many of the leading partners in each of the cloud ecosystems and will continue to invest in the partners that extend the reach of the platform and create new routes to market. Recent NRPN successes include entering agreements with some of the industry’s leading consultants, signing several new MSPs and driving continued momentum with sales through cloud marketplaces such as the AWS Marketplace.

As New Relic’s technology partners continue to increase their integration of data with its platform, New Relic is formally launching its Technology Partner Program with 16 partners – including Fastly, MongoDB, PagerDuty, and Turbonomic – which have committed to building enhanced integrations and applications on the New Relic platform.

New Relic partners share their success stories:

“We have been partners with New Relic for many years and we are excited about the new enhancements to their partner program, which will enable us to further develop our solutions to deliver customers an optimized multi-cloud experience. Rackspace is proud to be a customer, a managed services partner, and a consulting service partner of New Relic, and we will continue to expand on new business models such as customers’ increasing interest in purchasing via cloud marketplaces.” said Peter FitzGibbon, vice president of strategic alliances, Rackspace, leading multi-cloud services provider.

“New Relic’s observability platform is an important complement to PagerDuty’s digital operations management platform. Together, we take a proactive and preventative approach to managing operations, taking digital signals and insights from New Relic, and making them actionable for the teams focused on keeping the world always-on,” said Jukka Alanen, senior vice president of business development and corporate strategy, PagerDuty, real-time operations platform.

With every industry being faced with an imperative to digitally transform, New Relic plays a vital role for us in helping customers create high-performing applications and an improved digital customer experience. New Relic’s platform complements Tech Mahindra’s offerings to help our customers accelerate their critical digital transformation initiatives,” said Nitin Mohan, vice president & head of alliances, communications, media & entertainment (Americas), Tech Mahindra, system integrator and pioneer in IT service.

“As we help customers optimize and modernize their AWS environments, we rely on New Relic’s leading observability platform to deliver a premier managed-service offering for our clients. With New Relic, our customers can feel confident that their applications and infrastructure environments are optimized to the fullest extent, allowing them to contain costs and apply savings to further enhancements in their digital environments,” said Doug McMaster, executive vice president, managed cloud, 2nd Watch, leader in cloud consulting and management.
