Ameriprise Financial Announces 2020 Annual Meeting of Shareholders to be Held as a Virtual Meeting

MINNEAPOLIS--(BUSINESS WIRE)--Ameriprise Financial, Inc. (NYSE: AMP) announced today that due to the restrictions associated with slowing the spread of COVID-19 and consistent with its efforts to protect the health and safety of Ameriprise shareholders, employees, advisors, directors and others, the Board of Directors has made the decision to conduct the 2020 annual meeting of shareholders as a virtual shareholder meeting and there will not be a physical meeting in Minneapolis.

Shareholders of record of Ameriprise Financial as of March 2, 2020 are invited to the company’s virtual shareholder meeting. Shareholders may participate, vote and review materials at www.virtualshareholdermeeting.com/amp2020 or by visiting ir.ameriprise.com. Shareholders are reminded that they must use their 16-digit control number, which was included with their proxy materials, to participate in the meeting or register as a guest to listen to the meeting.
