UiPath Named Fastest Growing Technology Company in FT Americas’ Fastest Growing Companies 2020

RPA leader earns overall number two spot on FT’s inaugural list, growing revenue by 37,463 percent from 2015 to 2018

NEW YORK--(BUSINESS WIRE)--UiPath, the leading enterprise Robotic Process Automation (RPA) software company, today announced it is the fastest growing technology company in the Americas according to FT Americas’ Fastest Growing Companies 2020. This inaugural ranking of the top 500 private and public companies that have achieved the highest growth in revenues between 2015 and 2018 spans industries such as gaming, technology, health, food and beverage, e-commerce, and financial services. UiPath earned the number two spot overall after increasing its operating revenue by 37,463 percent during the time period. This latest recognition comes on the heels of UiPath’s ranking as the number one fastest growing company in North America on Deloitte’s 2019 Technology Fast 500.

UiPath’s growth is unparalleled among software companies. Because of UiPath’s ease of use, scalability and open platform, the company has cultivated the world’s largest RPA community exceeding 6,000 customers, including more than 50 percent of the Fortune 500 and eight of the Fortune 10. In February, the company announced it closed December 2019 with $360 million in Annual Recurring Revenue (ARR), with net new ARR in the fourth quarter exceeding $60 million. In July 2018, UiPath announced that it had crossed $100 million in ARR. The company was also listed number 3 on the Forbes Cloud 100 2019 and recognized as an RPA Leader in the Forrester Wave: RPA, Q4 2019, and a Leader in Gartner’s 2019 “Magic Quadrant for Robotic Process Automation Software.”

“Automation is helping organizations around the world become faster and more agile in the face of increased demand and rapidly changing environments, proving that if we work together we can adapt to extraordinary circumstances,” said UiPath Co-Founder and CEO Daniel Dines. “It goes without saying that topping the FT’s list is an absolute honor and testament to all the hard work of our employees, customers, partners, investors, and RPA ecosystem as a whole. Business leaders everywhere are seeking ways for their organizations to be more productive, keep employees more engaged and customers elated. With a vision of A Robot for Every Person, UiPath is leading this workforce revolution and I couldn’t be prouder of our company as we continue to push forward the ‘automation first’ era.”

The FT list was compiled with Statista, a research company, and ranks entrants from across the Americas by compound annual growth rate (CAGR) in revenue between 2015 and 2018. To be eligible for the recognition, companies must have generated revenue of at least $100,000 in 2015 and revenue of at least $1.5 million in 2018. Additionally, companies must be independent and revenue growth between 2015 and 2018 must have been primarily organic. Finally, the company must be headquartered in one of 20 American countries. The full report featuring case studies and analysis from this year’s ranking will be published in print and online on May 12.
